2. Company Turning Point
Wang Yung-chang (CEO Wang's son):Temporarily relinquished company management, studying at the Department of Agronomy, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, and the Institute of Microbiology, National Taiwan University. Later, he went to the United States to obtain a Chinese medicine practitioner's license and opened a clinic in Los Angeles. During his time in the United States, he continued to participate in the research and development of new products and formulas.
Overseas Development:In 2008, Mr. Wang temporarily closed the Taiwan company and moved to Thailand to operate an orchard business of approximately 150 hectares, which was very successful.
Thailand Floods and Return to Taiwan: In June 2011, Thailand experienced its worst floods in history. Approximately 100 hectares of orchards were damaged, forcing him to abandon the Thai business and return to Taiwan.
Low Point and Restart:Mr. Wang (then 67 years old) was physically and mentally exhausted by the devastation of the Thai floods and lost the will to run the business. With the visit and care of church pastors, he received interest-free, indefinite-repayment financial support and decided to start over.
Company Restructuring: In February 2015, "YUNG JI Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd." was re-established.
